Appaloma is run by Great Land of Gems! LLC. This is what we collect, why, and who else touches it.

What we collect

Account. Your email, name and a profile picture if you sign in with Google. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, which stores your credentials. We never see your password.

Payment. Stripe takes your card and keeps it. We store your Stripe customer id, your plan and whether the membership is active. Card numbers never reach us.

Use of the site. The niches, apps and ads you watch, and your apps or games setting. Server logs with your IP address and the pages you open, kept for a short time to keep the site running.

Email. Receipts, sign-in codes and the occasional note about your membership, sent through Resend. We do not send marketing you did not ask for.

What we do not do

No data brokers, no selling your information. No tracking pixels in our emails. The Google Ads tag runs on our pages so we can tell when a click on one of our ads turned into an account or a purchase.

Cookies

A sign-in cookie from Clerk, one small cookie for your apps or games setting, and Google Ads cookies that tell us which ad brought you here.

Who else touches it

Clerk for accounts, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Vercel for hosting, Neon for the database, Google Ads for measuring our ads. Each one holds only what it needs for its job.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account. Close it and we delete your watch lists and account details within 30 days. Payment records stay with Stripe for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

Ask us for a copy of what we hold on you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we answer within 30 days.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we email members before it applies.
