These terms cover appaloma.com and the Appaloma membership, run by Great Land of Gems! LLC. By creating an account or paying for access you agree to them.

What Appaloma is

Appaloma is a research catalog of App Store apps and the niches they sit in: revenue bands, niche readings, ads, reviews and angles. It is a paid membership for people building or buying apps.

Your account

You need an account to buy access. Keep your sign-in to yourself. One membership is for one person. If you want a team on it, write to us.

Payment and renewal

Membership is billed by Stripe, monthly or yearly, and renews on its own until you cancel. Prices are shown before you pay. Taxes may be added where the law requires it.

You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund partial periods. If something is broken on our side and you tell us within 14 days of paying, we will refund you.

What you can do with the data

Use it to research, plan and build your own products. You can quote it, screenshot it and share findings with your team.

Do not scrape, mirror, resell or bulk export the catalog, and do not use it to build a competing catalog. Do not share your account so that several people use one seat.

The numbers are estimates

Revenue bands, niche readings and rankings are researched estimates, not audited figures. Apps change, stores change, and some of what we publish will be out of date or wrong. Check before you bet money on a single number. We are not liable for decisions you make from the catalog.

Third party content

App names, icons, screenshots, reviews and ads belong to their owners. They appear here for research and comparison. If something of yours should not be here, write to us and we will take it down.

Ending access

We can close an account that breaks these terms, with a refund of any unused full months if the account was not used to scrape or resell. You can close your account any time by writing to us.

Liability

Appaloma is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we email members before it applies.
